It was a disappointing night away to Kidderminster for The Mariners as the hosts put four past them.

From the first minute Harriers enjoyed lots of the ball and began to work Bobby Grant’s side in the early stages.

Kidderminster found the opener in the 19th minute thanks to a cool finish from Reece Devine who found himself in lots of space at the back of the 18 yard box.

After going ahead Harriers still looked dangerous, especially through counter attacks as they looked to double their lead.

Devine was gifted a second after a mixup at the back from The Mariners.

The left wing back beat Fraser Barnsley to the ball before placing it into the back of an empty net.

Kidderminster continued to pose a threat in the second half of the game despite minor flashes of quality from Marine stemming from substitute James Potter.

They added a third in the 66th minute thanks to a towering header from Emeka Obi, leaving Marine with a mountain to climb.

Harriers substitute, Amari Morgan-Smith sealed the job for his side who added a fourth in the 80th minute from close range.

After a disappointing result, The Mariners turn their focus to the weekend where they welcome Woking Town in the Quarter Finals of the FA Trophy.

Marine lineup: Barnsley; Thomas, Anson, Drysdale (Bell 72’), Ashton; Fielding (Huby 84’), Whelan; Sinclair Smith (Abbey 72’), Jolley; Newell (Potter 46’), Zanzala.

Unused subs: McIntyre, Hazlehurst.
